International Youth Day -12th August 2021, with the theme: “TRANSFORMING FOOD SYSTEMS: YOUTH INNOVATION FOR HUMAN AND PLANETARY HEALTH”, aims to highlight that the success of such a global effort will not be achieved without the meaningful participation of young people.
In recognizing this, Lukiza Autism Foundation (LuAF) had partnered with Africa Association for Vertical Farming (AAVF) to Empower Youth with Autism and other disabilities via Smart Vertical Farming.
No Youth should be left behind. Our differently-abled youth should be able to put food on their table and participate in building our economy to the best of their abilities and capabilities.
LuAF and AAVF also had a dialogue on the clubhouse to commemorate this year’s youth day discussing Smart Vertical Farming opportunities and the position the two organizations have to help youth attain skills and knowledge available in the Agripreneur ecosystem.
