Youth with Autism Empowerment via Smart Vertical Farming Training
Overview
AAVF and LuAF have the intention to cooperate more closely in the fields of Vertical Farming Training and Sustainable Food Systems for individuals with Autism and other individuals with mental and neurological issues related to Autism.
Actively seeking out and creating opportunities to organize or support the implementation of Vertical Farming Trainings and Sustainable Urban Food Production projects for Individuals with Autism and other individuals with mental and neurological issues related to Autism in Tanzania.
Objectives
In so doing the following objectives shall be reached:
- Be able to put food on the table and feed themselves and their families
- Social-economic skills development and/or technical and vocational education and training to youth with Autism and other disabilities.
- Self-employment/income-generating activities for the youth with Autism and their families
- Inclusive formal or wage employment, and hence
- social protection.
