WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS FAIR 2021 AT THE DAR ES SALAAM SERENA HOTEL – GUEST OF HONOUR HON. GODWIN MOLLEL, DEPUTY MINISTRY OF HEALTH, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, GENDER, ELDERLY AND CHILDREN.
On Saturday 10th April 2021, Lukiza Autism Foundation organized the World Autism Awareness Day 2021 Commemoration with a purpose of educating the public on Autism and bringing together major players in the Autism field and other stakeholders with the intention of stirring up serious conversation on what can be done in improving the quality of life of individuals with Autism as well as influence guidelines and policy changes. Representatives from the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, Registrar of NGO, representative from the National Mental Health and Social welfare; various NGO, Medical and Educational experts from both the government and private sectors were present. The Event was a success as the purpose of it was achieved.
