Ms. Hilda Nkabe:
Founder & Executive Director: LUKIZA AUTISM FOUNDATION
Ms. Hilda Nkabe is the Founder and Executive Director of a Non-Profit Organization (NGO), LUKIZA AUTISM FOUNDATION (LuAF) registered in Tanzania in March 2020 and Founder of LUKIZA SPORTS FOUNDATION, organizers of RUN 4 AUTISM TANZANIA. She is a proud mother of two teenage boys, one of whom has Autism and is the inspiration behind the creation of Lukiza Autism Foundation. Ms. Nkabe has a wealth of knowledge and experience in raising a child with Autism and comprehends challenges faced by individuals with Autism and their families in Tanzania as well as successes that can be achieved through intervention, Autism awareness, acceptance and inclusion. Her Mission with Lukiza Autism foundation and Run 4 Autism Tanzania is national wide campaign on Autism Awareness, acceptance and inclusion in all aspects of life, health, education, social and economic activities in order to improve quality of life of individuals with Autism.
Having worked with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for about 15 years; in Beijing China and Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Ms. Nkabe acquired international experience, high- level professional integrity, a sense of Community Services and Social Responsibilities. Additionally, Ms. Nkabe has abundant knowledge and experience in the Hospitality Industry, having worked with International and leading Hotels of the world, including the Jurys Doyle Group in Dublin Ireland and the Former Sheraton Hotel Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. She is an expert in People Management, Hospitality, achieving Service Excellence, Event Planning and fantastic Organizational skills.
Ms. Nkabe has a Bachelor Degree majored in Hospitality Management and a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Dublin Institute of Technology Ireland. She speaks multiple International languages including English, Swahili, Mandarin and some French. Top 100 Executives List 2022 Award- CEO Not for profit of the year.
